Sacred Threads of Crete

I’ve worked on a spontaneous video that allowed me to finally work with traditional Cretan music. I always wanted to twist, turn, cut, and add to this particular folk music but never got the opportunity to do so, somehow.

This video footage was captured during a workshop about the art of the loom in a village called Margarites. A man came in at some point and started to play his mandolin and since I was carrying a portable microphone I recorded him playing. I later added some background synth for the video. Just a smooth subliminal carpet.
