EXTÁTICO | EP

'EXTATICO' is an exploration of my personal interpretation of ecstasy, a journey to capture emotions through improvisation. Throughout 2022, I delved into the concept of ecstasy in the realm of music.

I embarked on a musical adventure in Portugal, learning the art of jamming with fellow musicians. This experience felt akin to tending a fire, demanding a significant amount of energy. While enjoyable, I approached it with a deep respect and a serious commitment. To truly connect with the music, I had to relinquish control and let the rhythms flow naturally.

Then, in September, I set out on a solo venture, attempting to channel the same energy I experienced during those jam sessions. The challenge was to have a general direction in mind but without a fixed structure, allowing spontaneity to reign, much like the collaborative improvisation with others.

PETRICHOR

'Petrichor' is a composition evoking the earthy scent of rain after an extended period of warm, dry weather. The music feels refreshing yet carries subtle, sensitive frequencies that hint at uncertainty.

AUTHORITY

'Authority' is a profound and dark electronic composition, embodying the sensation of stepping into one's power, the act of claiming authority. It's the feeling of a lion's roar, a sense of plutonic force, demolishing what no longer serves.
